After sixteen years, the 2019 Honda Passport comes back to the market. The official presentation was recently at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. The main rivals will be Ford Edge, Chevrolet Blazer, Nissan Murano, Volkswagen Atlas and Hyundai Santa Fe.

This mid-size SUV crossover was built on Honda’s Global Light Truck platform with five doors. Four levels of trim are available: Sport, EX-L, Touring and Elite. In addition, it offers Adventure and Urban package, and there is also a Honda Sensing suite of safety features. It also has a higher ground clearance (8.4 inch or 213 mm) than Pilot and CR-V.

2019 Honda Passport now only offers a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine. The same engine has Pilot and Ridgeline.

Exterior and interior design
Built-in is a black grille with glossy arround, as well as body-color bumpers and dual chrome exhaust pipes. Of course, the complete lighting is in LED technology. Optional offering a moonroof, second-row sunshades, roof rails, front and rear spoilers, and a trailer hitch. In cabin are the cloth or leather seats and steering wheel. There is a 7.0-inch TFT screen in its instrument cluster, while the center console has a 5-inch screen or 8-inch touchscreen. Also, provided is a three-zone automatic climate control.

The first models of the 2019 Honda Passport will be in sales outlets early next year. The starting price is likely to be slightly less than $ 30,000, while the most expensive model will cost around $ 40,000.
