In the fourth generation, the next 2018 Land Rover Range Rover is finally ready. In addition to standard models, available is the 2019 Range Rover P400e, with a plug-in hybrid engine. The Plug-in hybrid features a 2.0-liter Ingenium four-cylinder engine of 295 hp (220 kW) and 296 lb-ft (401 Nm) of torque. Combined with 116 hp (87 kW) and 203 lb-ft (275 Nm) torque converters. This system supplies 13.1 kWh of prismatic cell lithium-ion battery (located below the floor in the rear of the vehicle), with a maximum range of 31 miles (50 km). The total production is 398 bhp (297 kW) and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) of torque. Available are Parallel Hybrid, SAVE and EV mode, while standard models include Comfort, Dynamic, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts, Sand, Rock Crawl and Eco mode.

Exterior and interior design

This full-size SUV features a new Graphite Atlas mesh grille with chrome inserts and body-color bumpers. The front bumper has large openings for ventilation, while in the rear integrated conical exhaust tips. In addition to the front fog lamps, all lights are the LED technology. Also available are two new colors of the exterior (Rossello Red and Byron Blue). Most internal elements are coated with grained, oxford and semi-aniline leather. In addition to the extremely comfortable front leather seats, the rear seats are significantly larger, and more leg room is provided in the rear. The center console has two 10-inch HD touchscreens (InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system). The control panel has a 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display, and there’s a head-up display. It also has three distinct zones LED ambient lighting (10 different colors), air ionization system, three or four zone automatic climate control.

Depending on the choice of engines, the price 2018 Land Rover Range Rover will range from $ 87,350 to $ 177,200, while a plug-in hybrid is likely to cost around $ 95,000. The standard model will be on the market at the end of this or early next year, while the P400e is expected as a model for 2019. It has also been announced that it will have a fully electric model since 2020.
